The Truth can be honorable
if revealed at the earliest opportunity.
The Truth can be intimidating
when appraised in the absence of context.
The Truth can be painful
when it shatters unrealistic dreams of perfection.
The Truth can be damaging
if allowed to destroy potential.
The Truth can be transient
like a cloud becoming a rainbow.
Join me under the raindrops
of the dark clouds above us
and we will soon be holding hands
under a clear blue sky.
